Messer and Mary Elizabeth Waller. Preceded in death by two sisters and a brother; Mary Justice and Vina Hodge and James Messer. Survivors include her daughter, Tabitha Lanett Sloan; two sisters, Martha Ann Reece and Edna Marie Marcum; two brothers, Walter Riley Messer and Flem Jenning Messer. Burial Thursday in the Messer Cemetery in Jennies Creek, WV.

Born March 8, 1915, in Wayne County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Eustice J. and Myrtle Perdue Malcolm. Preceded in death by her husband Arley B. Cline. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Paul Edward and Patricia Cline; a daughter Darlene Ferrell; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Iona Page and Mildred Rose. Burial March 1, 2008 in Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, W.Va.

Survivors include his mother, Bessie Simpkins; his wife, Dorothy Rice Simpkins; his mother-in-law, Sadie Rice; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tracy and Shannon Simpkins, and Randy and Holly Simpkins; a grandson and a granddaughter; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Cecil Melton and Olivia and Keith Dye; a sister-in-law, Irene Ferrell.
