LOLA CHILDERS, 75, of Hamlin, W.Va., died June 1, 2018. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin, W.Va.; burial in Bowen Cemetery, Wayne County. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

JAMES CLIFFORD CHANDLER, 87, of Kenova, WV passed away on June 2, 2018 at his home. He was born November 25, 1930 in Olcott, WV to the late Orville Ray Chandler and Erma Miller. James is preceded in death by his wife, Oletta Stamper. He leaves behind to mourn his loss and cherish his memory, his girlfriend, Janice Hager; children Cathy Chandler, Jeff Chandler, Scott Chandler (Carolyn); Siblings, Roger Chandler (Cheryl), Lowell Chandler, Johnny Chandler, Gladys Holstien (Billy) and Sue Baker. Also left behind; grandchildren, Brenna Chandler, Preston Hager and a great- grandchild, Nathan Dixon. At this time there are no services scheduled. JAMES MICHAEL STEPHENS, 67, of Raymond, Oh., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 2, 2018. He was born February 24, 1951 in Wayne W.Va., a son of the late George and Violet Stephens. Also preceding him in death were four sisters Glenna Williams, Diane Lambert, Delores Parsley, Beverly Watts, and four brothers Donald, Rick, Argene, and Charlie Stephens. He leaves behind his loving wife Donna Stephens; one daughter, Christina (Todd) Mills of Proctorville, Oh.; one son, James Stephens, Jr. of Huntington, W.Va.; three step-daughters, Tonya Mendoza of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Carrie Mendoza of Bellefountaine, Oh., and Amanda Mendoza of Columbus, Oh.; and one granddaughter, Shian Locklear of Raymond, Oh. Also surviving are two sisters, Joyce Jones of Huntington and Helen Weber of Columbus; five brothers, Dallas Stephens, Paul Stephens, Adolphus Stephens, Raymond Stephens, and Silas Stephens, all of Wayne; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family too numerous to mention. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the New Beginning Apostolic Church, 1002 25th Street, Huntington, W.Va. with Pastor Todd Mills officiating. JAMES MICHAEL WHITT, 44, of Kenova, father of Darion and Gabriel Whitt, died June 2, 2018 in St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington. He was an employee of Pizza Hut. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday at Catlettsburg (Ky.) Freewill Baptist Church; burial will follow in the Maple Hill Section of Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova. BONNIE LOU KEYSER SHANNON, 70, of Ceredo, W.Va., passed away Monday, June 4, 2018, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Graveside funeral service will be conducted at noon Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Maple Hill Cemetery, Kenova, with Pastor Matthew Christian officiating. She was born May 12, 1948, in Wayne County, W.Va., the daughter of Betty Cole Adkins and the late Harold Keyser. Bonnie was a member of the 20th Street Baptist Church, Kenova. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her mother- and father-in-law, Alice and William J. Shannon. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her beloved husband, Milton C. Shannon; one daughter and son-in-law, Amanda Dawn Galloway (Joe); and a host of family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the 20th Street Baptist Church. LARRY ROGER McKENZIE, 74, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018, in King's Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Ky. Larry was born December 24, 1943, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Thomas F. and Gladys Workman McKenzie. He was a self-employed mechanic and attended Kellogg Church of God Holiness and Oakview Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one nephew-in-law, Carl Gilbert; one nephew, Kenneth Gibson; and one brother-in-law, Sidney Gibson Jr. He is survived by one brother, David L. McKenzie; one sister, Mildred Louise Gibson; two nieces, Tammie Gilbert, Cindy Powers (Chuck); one nephew, Steve Gibson (Kathy); and a host of grand-nieces and grand-nephews and one great-grand-niece and one great-grand-nephew. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2018, until service time at 1 p.m. at the Reger Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Kenova. ROSE HATTEN died June 6, 2018, in Little River, S.C. She was born March 2, 1929, in Branchland, W.Va., the daughter of the late Ivan and Mae Heck. She is survived by her son, David Hatten and his wife Ruth Ann of Little River, S.C., and her grandson, Brian Hatten of Atlanta, Ga. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Keith Hatten. She is survived by her brother, Larry Heck (Jo) of Ceredo, and her niece, Melinda Marion of Bluffton, S.C. ; also by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Tiny Hatten, Don Hatten and Eleanor Meadows. HELEN THOMPSON, 83, of Obetz, OH, formerly of Fort Gay, WV, died Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the Scioto Community Nursing Home in Columbus, OH. Helen was born January 20, 1935 in West Virginia to the late Annie Mullins. She was a homemaker who lovingly tended to her family. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Thompson and her sisters Lizzie Watts and Mildred Dean. Survivors include her children Virginia Jarrell, James (Evanna) Thompson, Jerry (Juanita) Thompson, Willis Thompson, Nora (Roy) Thompson, and Linda Smith; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and her brothers Jack Mullins and Marion Mullins. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Thompson Cemetery on Vinson Branch. LISA MARIE BERRY, 59, of Huntington, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 7, 2018. She was born June 19, 1958 in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of the late Floyd and Ada Lucas. Her husband Herman Lee Berry, Jr. also preceded her in death along with two brothers, Michael Lucas and Paul Lucas; and two sisters, Ruth Lucas and Wanda Lucas. Lisa was a homemaker and a member of the Big Lynn Freewill Baptist Church. She leaves behind two sons, William Kelly (Angela Mills) of Huntington, and Donald Kelly of Wayne, W.Va.; two grandchildren, Nora Katelyn Kelly and William Christopher Kelly; and step- grandchild Brandon Thacker of Prichard, W.Va.; Also surviving is one sister, Kathy Isaacs (Billy Prichard) of Wayne; two brothers, Merrill (Gladys) Lucas and Floyd Lucas Jr., all of Wayne; and friends and family too numerous to mention. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2018 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Gordon Workman and Brother Carlos Adkins officiating. GLADYS MAE PACK, 96, of Kenova, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018, at her daughter's residence. She was born October 29, 1921, in Huntington, W.Va., to the late Willard and Ethel Coates. She was an employee at Camden Park in the 1930s. She was married to the late Rev. George "Thomas" Pack for 44 years and owned Pack's Grocery. She served the Lord faithfully for more than 80 years. Desiring to see no one go hungry, she and Tom often fed those who couldn't afford to feed themselves. After serving the Lord, her greatest accomplishment was to be a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to those who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Deborah Lynn Bradshaw Rakes; great-granddaughter, Miranda Nicole Armstrong; siblings, Willard Coates Jr. and Maudie Chadwick; and son-in-law, Bob Bradshaw. Survivors include son, Clifton T. Pack; daughters, Barbara R. Bradshaw and Phyllis A. Ball; grandchildren, Robbie Bradshaw, Teresa Bradshaw Armstrong, Kim Davis, Lee Ball, Shane Pack, Michelle Bloss, Tanika Torres and Josh Ball; 13 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; siblings, James E. Coates, Stanley G. Coates and Regina F. Ball; and eight nieces and three nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Brother Thomas Dyer and Brother Willis Mills. Burial will follow in Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova. ELIJAH GABRIEL FRAZIER, infant son of Cody Tanner Frazier and Madison Sue Ann Derr died Friday, June 8, 2018 at the Cabell Huntington Hospital. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister Aurora Mae Lynn Frazier, his maternal grandparents Debbie Bartley and Michael Horn, along with his paternal grandparents Gennenne and Max Frazier. Graveside services will be conducted at 1pm Monday at the Webb Cemetery in Wayne County. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Young Funeral Home.

ROSA THORNHILL, 65, of Dunlow, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2018. She was born August 4, 1952 in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of the late Tennis and Georgia Wallace Napier. Her nephew Shadd Napier also preceded her in death. She leaves behind her loving husband, Ben Thornhill; five stepchildren, Benny Thornhill of Dunlow, Angela Thornhill of South Point, Oh., Charlotte Thornhill, Carolyn Thornhill, both of Ft. Gay, W.Va., and Bob Thornhill of West Hamlin, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Christina, Gabriel, Josh, and Aaron; one brother Frank Napier of Frost Free, Fla.; and many friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Brother Herman Dingess officiating. Burial will follow in the Dan Wallace Cemetery. ANGELA DAWN FORTH, 42, of Huntington, W.Va., died Sunday, June 10, 2018 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born May 9, 1976 in Huntington. Her father, Gazle Puskas Jr. preceded her in death. She leaves behind her loving husband, Russell Forth; her mother Virginia Rakes Puskas of Kenova, W.Va.; three beloved children, Brandon Forth, Nikki Forth, and Wendi Forth, all of Huntington; two brothers, David Puskas of Rush, Ky., and Robert (Belinda) Puskas of Mooresville, N.C.; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends too numerous to mention. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Community Memorial Gardens. ETHEL JACKSON ADKINS, 84, of Fort Gay, WV died Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the J.J. Jordan Nursing Home in Louisa. Ethel was born December 12, 1933 in Genoa, WV to the late Benjamin and May (Dingess) Rowe. Ethel was a homemaker and a member of the Upper Tabors Creek Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Homer Jackson, daughter Joan Judd, grandchildren Amanda Jackson and Freddie Tweedy, and siblings Luther Rowe and Mary Rowe. Survivors include her children Tom (Judy) Jackson, Toni Shinn, Tim (Sherry) Jackson, Dale Bailey, Theresa (Martin) Hostetter, and Darlene Daniels; 15 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchilren; and siblings Frankie Smith, Vangie (Bill) Ray, Charlotte (Bruce) Caldwell, Irene (John) Caldwell, Linda (Bobby) Chaffins, Harley (Erva) Rowe, and Ellis Rowe and former son in laws Johnnie Howard and Jim Judd. Visitation will be Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 6:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel. MARIAN KAY STEVENS, 72, of Huntington, WV, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, WV with Pastor Fred Ferguson and Brother Danny Sansom officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Wayne. Marian was born June 26, 1945 in Wayne, WV, a daughter of the late Lloyd Queen and Nora Sansom Queen Adkins. She was a retired LPN at the Huntington State Hospital, a member of the Pentecostal Assemblies of God by Faith Church, and a former member of the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronnie Stevens, a daughter, Rhonda Collins, and her stepfather, Herman Adkins. She is survived by two sons, Richard Stevens (Bobbi) and Michael Stevens (Sherri); one sister, Patricia Fry (Roger) of Wayne; two brothers, Ronnie Queen (Brenda) of Genoa, WV and Don Queen (Leota) of Wayne; three grandchildren, Cheylynn Fisher, Morgan Perdue, and Katelynn Stevens; five great-grandchildren, Noah, Gabriel, Emma, Rickilyn, and Adeline. MARGARET SUE "PEGGY" MASSEY, 73, of Kenova, WV, to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 10, 2018. She was 73 years old. Peggy was born in Richmond, Virginia, on September 14, 1944. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sue Virginia Coleman and Harry Brandon Coleman. Survivors include one daughter, Mary M. Russell, and three grandsons, David, Benjamin and Jonathan Russell. Cousins living in Virginia include Art A. Phaup Jr., A. A. Phaup III, Patricia Mottley, Barbara Ann Pastore, David Pastore, Bob Davidson and Bill Davidson. Peggy was a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church, where she belonged to the Homebuilders Sunday School Class and Circle 11. Peggy received her AB degree from Marshall University, with majors in English, Biology and General Science. Her MA degree was in Communications Arts. Additional hours were completed in the Gifted Program. In addition to teaching school for twenty-two years, Peggy taught swimming and life guarded for eighteen years, including manager of the swimming pool at the Guyan Country Club. Teaching experiences include Enslow Junior, Beverly Hills Junior, Cammack Junior, Huntington East High, Musselman High and Hedgesville High. Also Peggy was the Director Teacher of Highlawn Presbyterian Church Kindergarten and Princeton Presbyterian Church Kindergarten. In addition to teaching Chemical and Physical Science, Peggy taught Biology, English, Photography, Newspaper and Yearbook. A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, at The Fifth Avenue Baptist Church Chapel, 1135 5th Ave., Huntington. Burial will follow at a later date. DAVID PAUL CARROLL, 62, of Shoals, died Monday, June 11, 2018, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born May 14, 1956, in Huntington, a son of the late Paul W. and Pansy Jewel Adkins Carroll. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Emerson Carroll. He was a graduate of Marshall University, receiving his B.A. degree in 1980 and his M.S. degree in 1985. He retired after 33 years of teaching at C-K Middle School, was an Athletic Trainer for several Wayne County High Schools and a member of the Shoals Missionary Baptist Church. He was a livestock dealer with his son and an avid farmer. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Ann Hogan Carroll; his son, James Wesley Carroll of Shoals; two sisters, Paula (Robert) Quinn of New Bern, N.C., and Edna Farley of Shoals; one brother, Howard D. (Gina) Carroll of Shoals; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at noon Friday, June 15, 2018, at Shoals Missionary Baptist Church by Pastor Rick Webber. Interment will follow in Brumfield Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at the church. KELLI NICOLE ADKINS, 28, of Wayne, W.Va., was tragically taken from this world on June 12, 2018. Born October 13, 1989 in Huntington, W.Va., Kelli worked in the home health industry. Her maternal grandfather Dallas "Tucker" Adkins preceded her in death. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Donetta (David) Pelfrey of Wayne; Brian Adkins, also of Wayne; six brothers, Timothy Adams of Lavalette, W.Va., Nicholas Pelfrey of Wayne, Dakota Adkins of Lincoln Co., W.Va., Matthew Pelfrey of Huntington, Brandon Pelfrey of Proctorville, Oh., and Tye (Marie) Pelfrey of Wayne; paternal grandmother Jean Adkins of Genoa, W.Va., special aunt Teresa Adkins of St. Albans, W.Va., maternal grandmother Judy Adams of Wayne; maternal grandfather Don Adams of Wayne; special nieces and nephew, whom she loved as her own, Chelsie Pelfrey, Austin Stevens, both of Wayne, and Alex Adams of Lavalette; and a host of family and friends too numerous to mention. Private services will be held for the family at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.

BENJAMIN L. FETTY, 80, of Chesapeake, Ohio, left this world to eternally rejoice with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, 12 June, 2018, at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, W.Va., his beloved bride of 59 years, Linda Marie, lovingly by his side until the Lord called him home. He was born on 30 September, 1937, in Huntington, W.Va. Benjamin was a 1955 graduate of St. Joseph High School, served his church community at St. Ann's Catholic Church and his country in the United States Marine Corps. After his retirement from Heiner's Bakery where he worked for 40 years, Benjamin served his fellow Marines in the Marine Corps League where he served as the Detachment Adjutant for 12 years and the Department Chief of Staff for two years. He received numerous local, state and national awards for his unselfish dedication to his brothers and sisters in the Marines, including the Department of West Virginia Marine of the Year award in 2014 and the Distinguished Citizen Gold Award in 2017. Benjamin was a man full of love who was also loved well. He was the son of the late Harriet "Molly" and Dallas Fetty. He is preceded in death by his two sisters, Doris (James) Shope and Joann (Eurcel) Chinn. He is survived by his wife, Linda; two daughters, Kathy (Joe) Stevens and Jane (Charles) Koelsch; four grandchildren, Julie (Jason) Luu, Sarah (Josh) Iddings, Jennifer (Jay) Hackett and Joseph (Breanna) Stevens; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 15, at Reger Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, at St. Ann Catholic Church, Chesapeake, Ohio. CHESTER LYNN NAPIER, 84, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away June 12, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born October 31, 1933 in Wayne, a son of the late Edgar and Effie Napier. He was also preceded in death by all of his brothers and sisters, Charles, David, Denver, Glenn, Dennis, Donald, Carol Humo-Griffith, Barbara Godby, and Tootsie Ransbottom. Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Sally Napier; Chester Leonard Napier and his wife and family of Kenova, W.Va., Lisa "Gal" (John) Akers of Wayne, Shanna (Jacob) Perry of Kenova, Dalton "Big D" Bradley of Wayne, Chetley (Amy) Napier, Dyllan Perry, Shalynn Perry, Winston Perry, Braxton Napier, Nevaeh Napier, all of Kenova, Mark (Michelle) Napier of Cleveland, Oh., Cookie "Shyke" Skeens of Wayne, Debbie Thompson of Kenova, Tim (Judy) Mills of Cleveland, Tonya Skeens, Tanner Napier, both of Huntington, Charles Skeens, Johnny Ferrell, Little Chester Ross, Dale Maynard, Jay Newman Tomblin, Norman Wooten, Pearley McSweeney, JC Buskirk, his fur-baby Cheyenne, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family too numerous to mention. HARLEY DAVID WALDEN, 57, of Huntington, husband of Deborah Walden, died June 12, 2018 in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was a retired nursing assistant at the Huntington VA Medical Center. KAREN SUE DARBY BODIOU, 50, of Caldwell, Idaho, formerly of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Tuesday June 12, 2018 at her home. Born May 31, 1968 in Huntington W.Va, Karen and her husband Sorin worked as truck drivers delivering automobiles to dealerships. A daughter of Effie Smith and the late Allen Darby Jr., she was also preceded in death by her sister Brenda Eaves. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Sorin Bodiou of Caldwell ID; daughter Lillie (Jesse) White of Middleton, ID; son Michael Bodiou of Boise ID; her sisters Sadie (Jerry) Osborne of East Lynn W.Va., and Connie Martin of Morrow OH; and four brothers James "Larry" Wallace of Barboursville W.Va., Millard "Thomas" (Tammie) Wallace of Washington PA, Timothy (Linda) Darby of Wayne W.Va., and Kevin (Debbie) of Wayne. Private services were held for the family.

CARL HENRY HUTCHINSON, 61, of Fort Gay, WV passed away Wednesday June 13, 2018 at the Community Hospice Care Center following a brief illness. Carl was born Jan. 9, 1957 at Chesapeake, Ohio, the son of the late Patrick Henry and Ruby Magdalene Frasher Hutchinson. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Ray Frasher. He was a disabled carpenter. Survivors include his wife Dreama Hensley of Louisa; a daughter Kristina Hensley of Ashland, KY; three grandchildren Bryson Bevins, William Grant Bevins, Gunnar Abrams; four sisters Virginia Connor and husband Bill of Ona, WV, Rose Devaney, Wanda Pauley, and Paige Morgan all of Fort Gay; three special nephews Brian Morgan, Thomas Devaney, and Chuck Devaney; and several other nieces and nephews. LAURIE KATHRYN LUMAN, 93, of Louisa, Ky., passed away Friday, June 15, 2018, at her home. Laurie was born May 17, 1925, in Crum, W.Va., to the late Thomas and Malinda McGlone Foster. He was a 4-year Navy veteran, retired from the Huntington Fire Department and a member of Sunshine Baptist Church. REV. MILTON J. BARTRAM, 86, of Fort Gay, passed away June 21, 2018. He was born June 17, 1932, in Fort Gay, to the late Milton and Vena Bartram. Milton graduated from Duke University. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was an ordained Methodist Minister. He was a member of the Fort Gay United Methodist Church and also a member of Odell Lodge #115 AF&AM, Madison, the Fort Gay Lions Club and was a past Post Commander of the VFW Post 6103, KY. He was also involved with the Christian Appalachian Outreach, Fort Gay Food Bank, drove the van for the VFW Veterans and was a Kentucky Colonel. He was preceded in death by his son, Norman E. Bartram; sisters, Christine Prater Dick and Doris Horan; brother, Ray Bartram; stepbrothers, Carmi Blodgett and Frank Blodgett; stepsisters, Elizabeth Price, Mae Treet and Marie Dawdy. RAYMOND WESLEY "RAY" PERKINS, 68, of Kenova, passed away on June 26, 2018, at his residence. BEULAH PALMER, 80, of Ranger, W.Va., died Wednesday, June 27, 2018. She was born August 25, 1937, in Logan, W.Va., a daughter of the late James and Georgia Workman Palmer. Beulah was a proud graduate of Logan High School. She graduated from Morris Harvey College in 1970. She was a member Kiahs Creek United Baptist Church. Beulah was retired from the Wayne Board of Education where she taught for over 29 years. Beulah is survived by two sisters, Carole Ferris (Larry) and Margaret Wiley (Lonnie). She was very proud of her four nephews, Michael Ferris, Bethel Wiley, Kevin Wiley and David Wiley; and two nieces, Michele Allen and Anna Jenkins. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018, at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, W.Va., with Elders Jesse Stiltner and John Perry officiating. CHESTER MICHAEL FLORCZAK, 71, of Kenova, W.Va., passed away peacefully with family by his side on June 27, 2018. He was born November 17, 1946 in Scranton, PA the son of Chester Joseph Florczak and Eva Chimel Florczak. Chester was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind to mourn his loss and to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Rebecca Artrip Florczak; daughters, Sarah Liska (Rick), Lynn Morrison (John) and Glenna Shepard; sons, Brent Florczak, Scott Florczak and Chris Crawford (Jerrllea). Also surviving are his grandchildren; Cameron Liska,Taylor Morrison, Josh Morrison, Parker Morrison, Shelby Shepard, Coulson Crawford, Boyce Crawford and Ella Crawford; dearest friend, Larry "Pop" Popovich; his dog, Bruiser and a host of other family and friends. JOHN CHRISTOPHER ADKINS, 57, died June 28, 2018. He was born on March 4, 1961, in Wayne County, W.Va., to Mary Sue Sayre Street and the late William Allen Adkins. He is survived by his brothers, Will Adkins (Lavi) and Mark Adkins (Janet), all of Cornelius, N.C.; mother, Mary Sue Street of Knoxville, Tenn.; nephew, Tyler, and nieces, Nadia, Ashley and Shayna. Visitation will be 2 to 3 p.m., prior to the service. He will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Park, Mt. Pleasant, S.C., at noon Tuesday, July 3.
